All my life I have been a coddiwompler. My CV looks like a patchwork quilt. If I were to write an autobiography it would be full of adventure and colorful characters. That might be a project for another day.
The passion for fiber and textiles could be genetic. My Great grandmother's documented occupation is listed as "weaver".
As a toddler I played with scraps and buttons on my mother's sewing room floor.
As a teenager my well worn Levi's were elaborately adorned with embroidered patches.
To keep it brief, I do what I do because that's the cloth I'm cut from and the thread running through my life continues to unwind.
For the past ten years I have had one foot in the U.S.A and the the other across the pond. Winter months are spent in the North Country of N.Y. State. The rest of the year I coddiwomple close to the Irish Sea.
I'll be working Áine's virtual Studio and Store with purpose but to stay abreast of what's new and exciting you'll need to go to the "About" page and send me a message indicating you'd like to receive occasional updates.
